Mica Moca Project: Midnight Concert

This Saturday, September 10th, I’ll be taking part in a spontaneously organized (read between the lines: last-minute!) midnight concert at the exciting new Mica Moca Project, a former factory in Berlin’s Wedding district which has become a playground for local and international artists. It probably aspires to be what Tacheles once was before it became the number one destination for tourists wanting to experience ‘real, gritty, alternative Berlin.’ Mica Moca claims to be “a free and open space for people to come together who would never otherwise meet,” which sounds like a fairly good description of what artists are looking for when they come to Berlin.

The show starts at 10:30 PM and will include works by Bach (I’ll be playing the Second Suite) and performances by an ad-hoc amateur choir. For all who’d like to join the choir or the audience, visit the Mitternachtskonzert page on facebook.

When: 22:30

Where: Mica Moca Project, Lindower Strasse 22 S/U Wedding

Free admission!
